Overview:
Charter is currently seeking an experienced Cisco Voice Engineer to support a Cisco Phone implementation project across multiple locations in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, BC, starting October 2024. The ideal resource will have 7+ years of Cisco Voice infrastructure experience gathering specific voice system requirements from multiple departments, analyzing requirements, and designing/creating call flow diagrams, common voice templates and gathered information databases. Previous experience supporting Cisco Voice implementation projects in a healthcare environment is required. Location: Burnaby, BC/Surrey, BC (Onsite) Term: Eight (8) months.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years of Cisco Voice infrastructure experience gathering specific voice system requirements from multiple departments, analyzing requirements, and designing/creating call flow diagrams, common voice templates and gathered information databases.
  • Experience leading Cisco Voice implementation projects in a healthcare environment is required.
  • Experience conducting one-on-one meetings with stakeholders to understand specific phone system needs, including call handling, voicemail, paging systems, and other telephony functions.
  • Experience analyzing the requirements and designing/creating call flow diagrams, common voice templates and Gathered Information Database.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related voice technologies.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Visio.
  • Education: active industry certifications i.e., CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
