Description:

We are currently on the hunt for an ambitious and passionate City Manager / Operations Manager to oversee all the operations in the Leipzig Area (including the city of Dresden). The right candidate will be involved in all aspects of the business and report to the General Manager DE during the campaigns.
Full-time Official Employment with Oppizi Germany GmbH
Schedule - Monday to Friday
Work type - WFH/onsite + hybrid accepted when possible after the probationary period (at least 3 days a week to be present in coworking), 2 days present in the other city of the area (either Leipzig or Dresden depending on where the employee is based)
Team structure/Number of team members - 8 colleagues in Germany (General Manager Europe, General Manager DE, Head of Operations DE, 6 City Managers in Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Munich, Essen, Berlin and Stuttgart, BA’s HR Specialist)

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • Good writing and oral skills. Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of Excel/Google Spreadsheets
  • At least 1 year of work experience in Operations
  • University degree in Business or a similar field
  • An active relationship builder who can collaborate with internal and external teams to consistently improve processes and communication workflows
  • Right to work in Germany

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support our operational cities in Dresden and Leipzig within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. Ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to the Brand Ambassadors (BA);
  • Liaise and coordinate campaigns;
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service;
  • Organize logistics between the cities. Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant;
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget. Prepare and control inventory;
  • Recruitment resources, conduct interviews, and oversee Brand Ambassadors (BA) levels in each of the cities;
  • Support and assist technology development;
  • Report directly to the Head of Operations of Germany to determine values and missions.
    This role is a very hands-on position in a fast-paced environment. It requires you to be working on the platform (laptop) and the storage facility to organize and distribute merchandise within your team and on-site monitoring of the team during the campaign.
