QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) registered.
- 2+ years of related experience in civil or environmental projects
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software will be an asset
- Experience with SFRAME finite element analysis
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, MicroStation, PLS-CADD,
- Experience with Engineering Design and Drafting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The compensation for this role is an hourly rate, Independent Contractor or Employee Hourly, $30-60/hour DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Assist our Senior/Intermediate Engineers preparing infrastructure projects, site studies and design, contract documentation and graphic presentations
- Provide project engineering and task management
- Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage
- Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forums
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
- Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
- Perform other duties as needed
