Job Description

Qualifications

  • Ideally candidate will have 3-5 years minimum post graduate experience.
  • Full Driving License
  • BEng, BSc Civil Engineering or similar
  • Design office experience
  • Proficient in CAD and Civil 3D essential.
  • Proficient in all standard MS Office software (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Ideally with some Structural Design/ Draughting experience (steel, RC)
  • Experience of Tekla TEDDS or equal design suite is desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Has good working technical experience of producing design drawing packages and specifications where required.
  • Significant knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD to aid production of design information.
  • Desirable to have experience of Autodesk Revit.
  • Works well as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team which includes Architects, M&E Engineers and Building Surveyors.
  • Experience of Civil/Structural projects which include roads, drainage, general infrastructure with structures experience desirable.
  • Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined survey procedures i.e. carrying out dimensional surveys, experience of reviewing CCTV surveys and use of survey outputs to produce necessary design information.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
  • Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • Provides guidance to entry level engineers and technicians.
  • Proficiency with TEDDS and Microdrainage or equivalent calculation suites is desirable.

Additional Information
Must have been BPSS / Security Cleared - Or have been in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to enable obtaining necessary Security clearances.
