Your main responsibilities

  • Perform technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various civil-structural building projects. May also lead teams in the production of deliverables
  • Work as part of a team to carry out building systems design projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential) in building structure
  • Establish contact with customers to understand their needs
  • Survey existing installations
  • Analyze, design and adapt complex building-related structural systems
  • Pre-project appraisals
  • Evaluate the construction cost budget
  • Write specifications and technical reports
  • Technical support for design
  • Provide work supervision assistance

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in civil infrastructure design
  • Experience on large-scale projects in both the public and private sectors
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Versatility, autonomy, communication skills and team spirit
  • Leadership and customer service skills
  • Mastery of building codes applicable to building mechanics
