Your main responsibilities
- Perform technical supervision, coordination, verification and design of various civil-structural building projects. May also lead teams in the production of deliverables
- Work as part of a team to carry out building systems design projects for various sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural and residential) in building structure
- Establish contact with customers to understand their needs
- Survey existing installations
- Analyze, design and adapt complex building-related structural systems
- Pre-project appraisals
- Evaluate the construction cost budget
- Write specifications and technical reports
- Technical support for design
- Provide work supervision assistance
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- At least three (3) years’ experience in civil infrastructure design
- Experience on large-scale projects in both the public and private sectors
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Versatility, autonomy, communication skills and team spirit
- Leadership and customer service skills
- Mastery of building codes applicable to building mechanics
