Job Summary
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience specific to land development (subdivision design) to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and analysis using engineering formulas for design of private and municipal infrastructure in support of land development projects
- Prepare grading and servicing plans in support of land development projects
- Prepare sanitary and storm design calculations
- Prepare erosion & sedimentation control plans
- Prepare functional servicing and stormwater management reports for private developments
- Assist in preparing contract specifications and tender packages, such as quantity take-offs, cost estimates, etc
- Assist in applying for an obtaining the necessary permits and approvals to proceed with construction
- Other assignments as needed
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- P.Eng license with Professional Engineers Ontario
- 5-7+ years of experience in the land development (residential and/or commercial) sector in the GTA
- Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required
