Job Description:
We are currently searching for a Civil Engineering Technologist to join the Infrastructure Division in our Edmonton office.
The successful candidate will work with engineers and other technologists to provide design and drafting services in accordance with company and client standards. The work will be performed for a variety of public and private sector clients with a focus on infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, storm water management, water mains, sewers and related civil surface works.
As the ideal candidate, you are an excellent communicator with effective organizational skills and leadership potential, who is capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines and thrives in a dynamic work environment. Your abilities will be strengthened and grown through a range of projects focused on the delivery of infrastructure projects in Northern Alberta. You will have the opportunity to develop a career path focused on technical leadership and/or project delivery based on your career aspirations and qualifications. The position will also provide you with autonomy as you will be required to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements:

What you will bring:

  • A diploma in civil engineering or engineering design and drafting from an accredited technical institution.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration with ASET.
  • 3+ years experience in AutoCAD, and Civil 3D is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS office software applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
