REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute (an A.Sc.T. designation would be advantageous).
• Holding a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Willingness to travel frequently to various out-of-town project sites.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Positive attitude and adaptability to work effectively in a team amidst changing circumstances.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As part of our team, you’ll take charge of various tasks, including:

• Logging test holes, conducting cone penetration tests, and overseeing geotechnical, geoenvironmental, and hydrogeological investigations.
• Performing laboratory and field tests on soils, aggregates, and concrete.
• Conducting project construction inspections.
• Assisting in the installation of water wells, groundwater monitoring, pump testing, and water sampling.
• Supervising and inspecting pile installation activities.
