DESCRIPTION:
About the Role
As our Estimating Manager reporting to the WA Regional Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, overseeing project estimations from inception to successful tender submissions and contract negotiations. Working closely with our Graduate Engineer and liaising with clients, you will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, meeting both technical requirements and client expectations. Your responsibilities will include managing a dynamic team, collaborating closely with our Operations and Commercial teams, and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate strong customer relationships and drive business development efforts.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive tender submissions and estimates.
Provide detailed reports and maintain proactive engagement with stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a team involved in large-scale Civil Earthworks, Pavement, and Ancillary projects.
Manage the strategic procurement of civil works in alignment with MR & LGE contracts.
Skills & Experience
Degree or Diploma in Business or Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Civil Construction; experience in Pavement construction is advantageous.
Proven track record (5+ years) in tendering, estimating, and strategic procurement within the civil construction industry.
Strong commercial acumen, particularly with MR & LGE contracts.
