Civil/Mechanical Engineer - Solar PV and BESS

Job description
Our client is a market leader in renewable energy, specializing in the development, design, and construction of large-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or progress toward it is advantageous.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in civil and/or mechanical engineering, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Proven track record in solar energy projects or large-scale infrastructure.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit) and knowledge of BESS technology and solar photovoltaic systems.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites across the UK.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Due to significant growth, our client seeks a Civil/Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding EPC team, focusing on solar photovoltaic and BESS projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, construction, and maintenance of renewable energy installations, contributing to the transition towards a sustainable energy future.
