JOB SUMMARY
We seek to hire a Civil/ Structural Engineering to join our team.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 2 years
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Degree in Civil or Structural engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Civil/Structural engineer
- Expert experience in project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
- A data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
- Good communication ability
- Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
Location: Candidate must reside in the following areas, Lokogoma, Galadimawa, Gaduwa, Apo-Dutse, Apo Resettlement, Wumba, Durumi, Kaura, Lugbe, Kabusa and Garki,
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 - 120,000 monthly.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
- Design structures, such as buildings and bridges
- Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
- Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence
- Follow construction safety guidelines
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
- Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
- Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval.
- Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
- Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
- Administer contracts and manage projects.
- Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.
- Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes.
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
- Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers
- Prepare and allocate budgets
- Track and report on project progress
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers
