Job Description:
We currently have an opening for a Civil Technologist with an interest in land development and commercial development projects for our Kelowna office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and deliver Land Development projects that include design of: lineal infrastructure (storm, sanitary and water services), site grading, stormwater management and roadways. Commercial Development projects that involve multi-discipline coordination and design of: site grading, stormwater management, underground infrastructure (storm, sanitary and water service) for projects across Canada. These projects will encompass a variety of types of land developments ranging from municipal, commercial, industrial, and institutional. You will deliver innovative solutions to complex projects and be challenged to develop high quality products for our valued clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating 2D conceptual drawings
- Infrastructure, and commercial/land development projects with Civil 3D
- Creating conceptual and preliminary designs
- Preparing detailed design drawings
- Supporting with tender documents
- Supporting with engineering analysis
- Supporting with technical report submissions
- Field surveying and data collection
- Construction inspection and assistance with contract administration
- Coordinating and communicating with multi-discipline project teams
Job Requirements:
What you will bring:
- Diploma in Design/Drafting Technology from an accredited technical institution.
- 1+ years’ progressive experience in computer aided drafting and design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word and Excel).
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Committed team player and the ability to work independently.

The salary range for this position is $62,400.00 to $87,360.00 and is commensurate with experience relative to this position
