Civil Water Laborer's

Our client is looking for a general laborer in the water/drainage industry who wants to learn and upskill with a supportive team. The current role available is based in Banks Peninsula so living out there is a must as work is local.

This role involves:

• Actively repairing and maintaining the water reticulation networks in the area through servicing all valves and hydrants
• Installing water main pipes and/or connections and repairing leaks
• Service pipes and connections on a scheduled and reactive basis

Qualifications :

• Must be Strong and Fit
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Full Class 1 (must) Class 2 (preferred)
• WTR (bonus)

You MUST be able to pass a drug test and complete all required checks for this role.
Full training given and upskilling will be provided for the right motivated candidate with licenses (class2/WTR) and further training.
