JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil’s Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects for our clients including Local Authority, Government and Private.

REQUIREMENTS

• HNC, HND or A degree in Engineering or a related field is essential. Candidates that have a history of a Civil Engineering apprenticeship (Engineer route) will also be considered.
• Proficiency PDF software, CAD and all Microsoft Office is essential.
• Strong understanding of the method of measurement for materials (units).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem - solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  Pay: £35,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

• Review project schematics and designs (using PDF and CAD software) to undertake material take offs, identify engineering issues (and resolve) and carry out on site setting out in conjunction with project drawings.
• Undertake drone flights using DJI Drones to capture site data including scaled imagery and 3D models (full training provided).
• Conduct land surveying and site assessments to gather necessary data for project planning.
• In conjunction with our Works Manager and Contracts Manager - organise and plan project timelines, resources, and budgets. This will include programming works using Microsoft Project (full training provided) and the creation of Health and Safety documents using company headed templates.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project progress and outcomes.
• In conjunction with our Director, author tenders for new projects by assisting with material take offs, provision of documents and final submission.
