WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Travelers Europe is looking for a Claims Team Manager for our Bond & Speciality Insurance team!
You will be responsible for leading a team of 6 highly trained and high-performance Senior Claim Professionals who handle Professional & Financial lines claims, including PI, D&O, FI and Transactional Liability/W&I matters. This role will be key to the successful operation of the claims handling function as we continue to enhance our claim propositions both internally and externally.

Key elements for the role are:

  • Capable of coaching and developing people’s careers to ensure that they can deliver to the limit of their abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills ensuring that all team members understand the vision of the company and how their role will contribute to long term success.
  • A track record of objectively assessing performance, identifying opportunities and successfully delivering tailored performance improvement strategies.
  • Ability to leverage data to ensure that decisions are being made using accurate and relevant information.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company’s discretion.
