If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and having an ’own it, do it’ attitude, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Claims Adviser to join our team in Auckland. This role will see you being part of a talented group of people that are passionate and driven to make a real difference. Please note, there will be an initial training period of 4 weeks which will be full-time, 9:00am to 4:00pm. You will need to be able to commit to this if you are successfully hired. After training, we have a variety of full-time shifts Monday to Friday between 8am and 5:30pm.

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Our ideal candidate will have experience in general insurance claims and customer service roles, as well as good working knowledge of general insurance policies.
  • Excellent communication skills - building rapport will come as second nature to you.
  • A genuine desire to help others and drive to go the extra mile for Member satisfaction.
  • Outstanding negotiating skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
  • Great time management, organisational skills and resilience are also super important to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end advice and support for our Members about their general insurance claims and setting expectations on the process along the way.
  • Engaging with assessors, repairers and suppliers to ensure the Member is reinstated as quickly as possible into the position they were in prior to any loss.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy when gathering and processing information.
  • Going above and beyond to meet our members expectations to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
  • Being versatile to be able to manage your own workload independently.
