QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong 3+ years auto appraisal handling experience or combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to define problems/issues, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong level of personal integrity with the ability to build relationships based on trust and collaboration.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to lead staff though ambiguous situations where being adaptable and agile are requirements.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and proactive with a forward thinking and innovative mindset.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial, with proven project management skills.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Claims Anlalyst II to join our growing team in Ontario!
As a Claims Analyst II, you will be responsible for the auditing of appraisals completed and reviewed in the Ontario Auto Appraisal Unit. Your experience and expertise acquired via appraisal handling will enable you to recognize areas of opportunity that could improve the customer experience, employee engagement and identify overall process improvement opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Conduct monthly audits for all auto appraisal types in Ontario, ensuring adherence to established best practices.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Ontario Appraisal Unit management team on employee performance, highlighting individual contributor success and development opportunities.
  • Identify department trends and establish department training needs, reporting back to the management team and department trainer.
  • Identify trends from completed reviews and provide feedback to the management team and support in the development for process improvements or action plans.
  • Other initiatives as required.
