Description:

Skuld is now looking for a Claims and Casualty Coordinator to strengthen our Skuld Energy team in Oslo.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE:

  • Higher education and at least 7-9 years of relevant work experience
  • A legal and/or technical background
  • Prior experience with casualty work and major claims
  • Ability to lead work of high complexity, and a proven record of dealing with large claims and/or casualties
  • Experience with coaching colleagues in your area of expertise
  • Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written
  • Willing and able to embody our values (Accurate, Bold, Caring and Dedicated) in everything you do

Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in coordinating the handling of casualties falling within the scope of Skuld’s Casualty Response Plan.

In this position you will:

  • Handle overall claims within all aspects of P&I operations
  • Have primary operational control for the handling of casualties falling within the scope of Skuld’s Casualty Response Plan
  • Manage Skuld’s Casualty Response Plan and processes for the Skuld Energy team
  • Be the primary point of contact for Members and Assureds in respect of casualty training and drills
  • Continuously observe and report developing claims trends, monitor legal and regulatory developments and relevant industry activities
  • Suggest and initiate loss prevention measures
  • Build strong relationship with Members and Brokers
  • Promote Skuld in the market and partake in marketing efforts
  • Actively coach and train junior claims handlers
  • Contribute to an open, friendly and trusting working environment
