Your Role As a Claims and Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of logistics liability claims, including analysis, assessment, and resolution.
Your role will involve applying extensive knowledge of transportation laws and handling claims in line with global procedures and insurer requirements.
You’ll ensure data accuracy, initiate recoveries from third parties, and provide ongoing support to staff while contributing to claims system development and training initiatives.
Frequent reporting and effective stakeholder meetings will be key components of your daily responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities Responsible for the general, operational, financial and administrative claims handling: Analysis, assessment and handling of all logistics liability claims Claims Handling through use of a broad spectrum of transportation knowledge such as Maritime law, Warehouseman’s Legal Liability, Freight Forwarding, Airfreight Liability and Road Logistics.Ensure all logistics liability claims are handled and processed in line with the Global Claims Centre procedures as well as with the requirements of Kuehne + Nagel’s liability insurers Ensure all liability claims data is in accordance with the expected standardInitiate and procure recovery from third parties as agreed locallyReport on claims data on a frequent basis and on a per-request basisProvide day to day support to Kuehne + Nagel staff on claims related matters.Conduct effective internal and external meetingsAssist in branch/BU’s trainings on all logistics liability related topics Support and contribute to the claims’ system development in terms of reporting tools and interfaces Your Skills and Experiences Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, or similar fields+3 years of experience in transport insuranceExperience in freight forwardingKnowledge of international transport legislationAdvanced English Good Reasons to Join At Kuehne+Nagel, we are committed to matching that excitement with a company culture that puts people first.
