The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. The salary offered is estimated to be within the following range: $50,000 - $53,000. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are still encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of High School or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Good customer service skills
  • Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, changing environment

Responsibilities:

  • Enter new claims reported via telephone, fax, email or web/mobile into claims system
  • Answer calls to the claims department
  • Identify, sort and distribute Claim Department documents
  • Conduct data base searches
  • Ensure successful transmission of documents to vendors
  • Perform clerical duties, such as filing, faxing, copying, scanning and indexing
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
