Salary: At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. The salary offered for this role is determined with consideration to various factors, including but not limited to: your work location, local labour market conditions, external market salary data, internal pay equity and the knowledge, skills, experience and anticipated proficiency in the role. QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of High School or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Good customer service skills
- Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Good time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, changing environment

Responsibilities:
- Enter new claims reported via telephone, fax, email or web/mobile into claims system
- Answer calls to the claims department
- Identify, sort and distribute Claim Department documents
- Conduct data base searches
- Ensure successful transmission of documents to vendors
- Perform clerical duties, such as filing, faxing, copying, scanning and indexing
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
