Your Responsibilities
Our Property and Casualty Claims team are now looking to recruit a Casualty Claims Broker to join our dynamic and expanding team.
The successful candidate will have solid experience of claims in this Class of Business and should be looking to make that next step in their career.
You will be handling a variety of claims emanating from around the world and managing your own allocated portfolio of accounts.

Your portfolio will consist predominantly of open market business, with some binder exposure. The majority of your accounts will be placed on a wholesale basis; there may be a combination of direct and some re-insurance accounts.

For major clients you will be responsible for maintaining the claims relationship, including regular calls, and provision of claims reports and management of Insurers.

You will be required to meet the agreed Service Standards and performance levels in line with the Key Performance Indicators and handle claims efficiently in a proactive manner including physical and/or electronic broking, negotiations, management of claims and the payment process. You will be responsible for processing much of your own work in ECF

You will be reporting to the Casualty Claims Manager and working alongside the Casualty Claims Advocate on large, contentious or complex losses.

- You will be handling claims from first advice to final settlement, via Lockton’s internal claims systems and through ECF
Qualifications
Extensive experience dealing with complex programme arrangements across a broad spectrum of casualty classes including General Liability, Product Recall, Health and Accident, Medical Malpractice, Contingency and Crisis Management.

Excellent knowledge of policy coverage application and associated benefits and exclusions.

Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking influencing and negotiation skills.

Proficient in using the London market systems e.g. ECF, CLASS.

ACII or working towards would be a distinct advantage.

- Excellent use of standard Microsoft applications.
