SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS
- At least 2 years legal background OR 3 - 4 years working as a Claims Consulting at an Insurer
- Experience taking on additional role responsibilities with the ability to take on senior tasks
- A strong customer service focus
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to drive positive outcomes with key stakeholders
- Outcome focused – able to overcome obstacles and deliver designated outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Managing claims across a range of risk classes, such as Property, Public Liability or Professional Indemnity – you need to have good experience in at least one of these risk classes
- Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure open communication
- Maintaining and building relationships with insurers and the global Aon network
- Reserving and investigating initial claims
- Timely lodgment of claims
- Providing advice to clients with respect to claim mitigation and claim management
- Providing effective presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
- Managing the claim lifecycle from notification through to closure
- Developing strong client relationships to help facilitate successful outcomes for clients
- Developing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships including service providers, brokers and underwriter
