Job Overview:
At Safe-Guard Products International, we put our clients’ and employees’ needs first to support the company vision to provide products and solutions to the motor vehicle industry that protect consumers from the perils of ownership. Our products complement manufacturers’ warranties both during and after the factory warranty period. Claims Document Specialists handle the administrative tasks associated with claims. Maintain business documents used to substantiate claims, contracts, and payments of goods and services to ensure company compliance with internal and external policies and procedures. Ensure the integrity of working documents, maintain document queues for workflow exceptions, and resolve document data issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, classify, and disposition documents or other electronic content according to predefined characteristics such as applicable functional support, applicable business process, claim support, and metadata requirements
  • Responsible for customizing the document management system to “Learn” characteristics of documents and required metadata elements
  • Receives and organizes claim documentation
  • Assists with daily workflow to ensure SLAs are met
  • Adheres to quality assurance guidelines
  • Operate data capture technology to import digitized documents into a document management system
  • Says current with all policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties, or work needs to support business requests
