The purpose of this role is to manage claims in accordance with policy conditions / department service standards. Key areas of responsibility are:

• Advising clients, brokers and account management staff on all claims matters
• Claims Assessments – interpret policy wording and review of circumstances
• Progress Claims – Advocating settlement of claims to the client’s best advantage
• Asses, investigate and negotiate with clients complex claims matters
• Working with Claims Leaders in providing structured solutions to clients and brokers
• Review complex claims, assist clients with dispute resolution including IDR & EDR (AFCA)

We are seeking a driven, experienced professional with a willingness to partner with brokers and claims teams who has had exposure to Insurance or Financial Services and:

• Client servicing experience including front line client facing interactions
• Strong business acumen and understanding of connection with Claims and Claims lodgement
• Knowledge of Insurance products and markets for commercial / SME industry segments
• Demonstrates strong client advocacy skills/experience
• Ability to maintain and develop business relationships with new/existing clients and underwriting partners
