JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CLAIMS HANDLER – M25 LONDON ORBITAL MOTORWAY PROJECT.

Are you ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role on one of Europe’s most iconic highway projects?
Connect Plus Services (CPS) invites a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as Claims Handler. This is your chance to contribute to the success of the M25 London Orbital Motorway, the busiest motorway in Europe, and make a real impact.
This role offers flexibility to work from our offices in either Leatherhead or South Mimms.
CPS is a joint venture between Balfour Beatty, Atkins, and Egis, entrusted with operating and maintaining the M25—the busiest section of motorway in Europe. With over £100 million of annual investment in the highway infrastructure, this project is unlike any other, offering unmatched challenges and opportunities in highways engineering.
Whether you are advancing your career in Highways or looking for your next professional challenge, this is the place to be.
What you’ll be doing
As a Claims Handler, you will manage and recover costs related to network repairs and damages, ensuring the smooth operation of the M25.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficient Claims Management: Drive the resolution of claims in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Financial Recovery: Handle “red claims” (third-party cost reimbursements) and “green claims” (recovering costs from damages).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiation & Reporting: Settle claims with insurers, liaise with the public, chase invoices, and keep the team updated.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements, including LEAN practices, to optimize claims handling.

Who we’re looking for

What we are looking for:

  • Experience: Background in credit control, administration, or claims management—ideally in highways services or insurance.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, computer literacy, and administrative abilities.
  • Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CII, CILA, CICM, or legal training) are a plus but not essential.
