JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Claims Manager to oversee our Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and Workcover claims operations in New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the investigation process.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Extensive experience in managing CTP and/or Workcover claims, with a deep understanding of the legislative environment in New South Wales. Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Oversee the management of CTP and Workcover claims in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements in New South Wales.
  • Liaise with investigators and other stakeholders to gather information and provide investigations in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement best practice.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and industry practices affecting CTP and Workcover claims.
  • Manage relationships with insurers, brokers, and other partners to facilitate effective investigations.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, areas of risk, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on claims performance to senior management.
  • Address and resolve complex or escalated claims issues.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
