Location is flexible, within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant.
Reporting to a Verification Supervisor, positions at this level are responsible for working closely with other Processing & Verification staff in processing, reviewing and approving claims of low to medium/high complexity in one or more product specialties (Income Stabilization or Insurance) within their approval authority. This position may also be required to work on AgriRecovery, LPI, Lending and any Ad Hoc programs and products administered by AFSC. These activities are performed in a highly automated environment requiring knowledge of generic and AFSC specific analytic programs and using sophisticated internal databases.

What will you be responsible for?

  • With minimal guidance from senior staff reviews, verifies and approves claims of low to medium complexity and with additional support approves claims of medium to high complexity within authority levels
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by displaying respectful words and actions to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Establish situational external relationships with clients and their representatives to clarify and obtain information and ensure compliance with program guidelines
  • Collate and analyze data using various systems, methods and formats. Involves working independently.
  • Make decisions by applying program rules and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma with four (4) years of related experience
    Candidates may be considered based on a combination of education and experience.
