* LOADING/OFFLOADING SITE IS IN THE FOX CREEK AREA. THE SCHEDULE FOLLOWS THE MANDATED HOURS OF SERVICE REGULATIONS. YOU WILL WORK/REMAIN IN THIS AREA UNTIL REACHING THE MAXIMUM 70 HOURS BEFORE RETURNING HOME FOR RESETS.*

Overview: Ascent Transport is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism. This role involves strategic operation of commercial highway vehicles to ensure transportation efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring timely deliveries, and adhering to transportation regulations. All successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and driver evaluation.

Duties: Including but not limited to;

• Operating company trucks and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Correctly complete and submit all company paperwork including BOL’s, Hazard ID’s, ELD logbook entries, timesheets, FLHA’s any other paperwork required for the job.
• Provide clients with exceptional and timely service.
• Complete routine vehicle checks including pre and post trip inspections.
• Loading, transporting, and offloading equipment according to on-site requirements.
• Comply with Federal carrier regulations including HOS and TDG requirements.
• Scale loads legally.
• Manually tie down and secure loads.
• Comply with delivery instructions and ensure proper hauling procedures are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a licensed Class 1 Driver and a clean 5 year driving abstract.
• B-train & offroad experience required.
• Valid CSO, H2S, and First Aid tickets.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
