POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Owner Operator - Tanker, you will have the ability to work well with minimal supervision and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and safely. You must have a passion for driving safely and defensively on the roads, for yourself and for others. You are not afraid of hard work and you are able to perform well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment. Primary responsibility is to safely transport liquid or gaseous cargo, such as chemicals, petroleum, or hazardous materials, to specified destinations. Duties include conducting pre-trip inspections of the tanker vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition, as well as loading and unloading cargo following established safety procedures.

- Competitive mileage rate
- Must be comfortable driving to Various regions in Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC and Manitoba
- 2-3 nights’ out(could vary)

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
- Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
