Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Paralegal for our Class Actions department in our Vancouver office. This position will require you to support our Class Actions department.
- 2-5 years’ experience supporting a litigation practice
- Post-secondary Paralegal education
- Above average interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to be proactive and follow through
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work to deadlines
- Strong client service skills, and finally
- Above average keyboarding/computer skills (primarily Word and Outlook)
General tasks
- Creating and filing Court documents (including, in particular, pleadings, complex application records, and written submissions)
- Research
- Administrative tasks including picking up mail, sending and receiving couriers, reception duties
- Requesting, organizing, and reviewing records
- Communication with clients
