We’re looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining hygiene and food safety standards. You should be hands-on in managing equipment levels and ensuring quality control in our kitchens, cool rooms, freezers, and dry store areas.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate II in Hospitality or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Sound knowledge of food handling and safe work practices.
- Knowledge of relevant consumables and equipment
Highly regarded:
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification
- Unrestricted Driver’s Licence

ABOUT THE ROLE
TAFE NSW is seeking a motivated and organised individual for a casual Class Preparation Assistant position based at our Wagga Wagga Campus commercial kitchen and hospitality faculty. As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining hygiene and safety standards in relevant areas and equipment. This includes compliance with food storage and disposal guidelines, as well as classroom setup and food preparation.
