Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary: London Fringe (M1 - M6 £33,075 - £45,037) depending on experience

1. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• The post would suit either a Primary Phase ECT or an experienced Primary Teacher
• Recent relevant experience in the Primary curriculum and practice

2. EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• A minimum qualification of either a Teachers Certificate, a first degree with a PGCE, QTS or Bachelor of Education
• Evidence of additional role-specific professional development

• Be able to communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents/carers both orally and in writing.
• Be able to work with parents in the best interests of your pupils.
• Be able to work as a member of a team and meet agreed targets.
• Be able to plan, organise and, where appropriate, delegate effectively
• Demonstrate a strong subject and pedagogical knowledge and commitment to keeping that knowledge and skills as a teacher up to date.
• Be able to evaluate your own performance
• An enthusiasm (and experience as appropriate) to lead a subject
