Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Active Pathways is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Cook to join our team at Heathy House, a mental health rehabilitation service in Halifax. This dual role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment while preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for residents and staff. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, adhere to food safety and health regulations, and ensure the home operates smoothly.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, following cleaning schedules and infection control protocols.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, catering to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist in planning menus in collaboration with the Lead Housekeeper/Cook and residents.
- Manage stock levels for cleaning and kitchen supplies.
- Support audits for housekeeping and kitchen operations, implementing necessary action plans.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to Health & Safety, COSHH, and Food Standards Agency regulations.
