OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a large family home, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and family members. This role is essential in upholding our standards of service and comfort, making it a vital part of our home environment. Potential for live in or part live in as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
• Dog friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• A willingness to learn new skills and learn about how to care for a large old family home with traditional wooden floors and furniture

  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  Pay: £13.00 per hour
  Expected hours: No less than 25 per week

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with laundry duties , including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Provide cover for looking after 2 family dogs, house and related buildings when family members are away
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure the house and other buildings are kept in good order
• Occasionally assist with light cooking duties/washing/tidying up after meals when required.
