Job Introduction
Sodexo has over 40 years of experience supporting the defence forces of the UK, the US and France. We support individuals, the community and the environment on base, working with military leaders to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of personnel across all military services.
Based at Normandy Barracks in Aldershot we are recruiting for a Cleaning Manager to manage a small team of cleaning supervisors and cleaners across the site.
This is a busy and varied operation that serves officers and junior officers. You will have proven experience in soft facilities management and cleaning and have knowledge of the military and defence sites. You must possess good communication skills and have strong stakeholder management and be able to handle multiple priorities.

Leading from the front, you will have direct management over two cleaning supervisors and team of cleaners and be responsible for;

• Health and Safety (including risk assessments, near miss reports and COSHH checks)
• Cleaning Audits
• Stock control
• Stakeholder Management
• Staff training

Though this role will be prominently Monday to Friday there is an expectation to be flexible to work weekends on an ad-hoc basis.
