Description:
Are you an experienced IT leader ready to drive impactful projects? Join us as an IT Project Lead (SME) to manage and deliver critical IT initiatives for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency. In this role, you will guide complex projects from concept to execution, leveraging your expertise to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs. This position is on site in Quantico, VA and requires a Top-Secret clearance.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated expertise in project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or PMBOK.
- Experience developing project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics for complex IT initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Active Top-Secret clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, including system development, integration, and implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience or certifications may substitute).
- Certifications such as PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).
- Experience managing IT projects in a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or government environment.
- Familiarity with cloud migration, IT modernization, or cybersecurity initiatives.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management best practices.
- Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian Confluence, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
