Description:

Are you passionate about shaping the future of enterprise IT systems for a mission-critical organization? Join us as an Enterprise Architect (Mid), where you will design, plan, and optimize enterprise architecture solutions to support the strategic objectives of a Federal Law Enforcement Agency. In this role, you will align technology with organizational goals, ensuring a scalable and secure IT ecosystem. This role is on site in Quantico, VA.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, or Zachman.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Knowledge of integrating Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products into enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise architecture or IT infrastructure design, demonstrating expertise in complex technical environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (substitution: certifications or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Experience supporting IT modernization initiatives for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or similar organizations.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools like Atlassian, ServiceNow, or Ivanti.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices and enterprise data management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement enterprise architecture frameworks and strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and establish system design standards.
  • Evaluate existing IT infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.
  • Integrate cloud-based and on-premises systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms, supporting hybrid cloud strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system roadmaps to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance the agency’s IT ecosystem.
  • Support cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality architecture designs and implementations.
