Description:
We seek an experienced Clearing and Forwarding Coordinator to facilitate the efficient and compliant movement of goods through the export process. This position involves overseeing customs clearance, customs and OGA( Other Government Agency’s’) documentation, and coordinating the logistics of shipments to ensure smooth transit through international borders.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in customs clearance and forwarding coordination.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using customs and logistics software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of international shipping, freight, and logistics principles.

Responsibilities:
- Framing entries and handling Customs queries.
- Ensuring export documentation complies with required customs regulations.
- Assisting and rectifying HS Codes where necessary.
- Ensure accurate calculation and payment of customs duties, taxes, and other charges.
- Acquiring release from OGA departments (PPECB, DAFF, PORT HEALTH, STATE VET, DTI, NRCS AND ITAC).
- Obtaining permits, SADCs, GSP and EUR1 for applicable countries.
- Requesting authorization from TPT and TPNA, (Cargo dues and landing orders) .
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all clearing and forwarding activities. ( Bond Store)
- Ensuring IOEC is in good standing with Customs and OGAs.
- Advise on correct Inco Term usage.
