DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position the Clerical Assistant 2 will provide clerical support for the Air Quality Program and other areas of the Southcentral Regional Office as assigned. This includes receiving incoming paper permit applications, routing to technical staff for review and assignment, and enters into eFACTS database, following Program protocols. The CA2 will distribute issued Air Quality permits upon approval by Program Manager. Verifies that permit is signed, and e-mails required documents to permittee and other related recipients; or, when necessary, sends these items out hardcopy. Documents each stage of permit distribution to demonstrate notice was provided to permittee. In addition, the position is required to type letters, reports, violation-related documents and transmittals from handwritten drafts or original source documents.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
