Clerical Help
Niagara Parks is currently recruiting for clerical help to join our Golf Operations team for the 2025 season. This position compensates at a rate of $19.43/hr.
Under the supervision of the Department Manager or Designate and within established policies, procedures and guidelines, this position is required to provide assistance with department needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a college diploma in Business Administration, Computers or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of basic computer data entry procedures and inventory procedures.
  • Experience with computer software applications and office procedures, including electronic office equipment.
  • Two years of previous experience, with one year on the job.
  • Good record keeping and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills including record keeping.
  • Mathematical skills, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and good telephone manners.
  • Ability to carry out the physical requirements of the position such as lifting if applicable.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Windows-based software, Outlook and Internet applications.

Responsibilities:

PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES

  • Complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, First Aid, and established policies and procedures.
  • Makes recommendations for the continuous improvement of existing procedures, practices, and reporting methods.
  • Ensures the security and cleanliness of NPC assets and property.
  • Promotes a positive image of the Niagara Parks Commission.
