POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Clerical Support Clerk ensures timely and accurate processing of data entry and support requests in accordance with published standards and controls. They will maintain databases by entering new and updated customer/account information according to established guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A High School diploma is required
- Previous payment posting experience is preferred
- Previous customer service experience is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Follow customer privacy protection policies.
- Use multiple computer applications to access information and process transactions.
- Operate office equipment, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
- Review files, records, and databases to obtain information to complete tasks.
- Type, format, proofread and edit correspondence and other documents.
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
- Check source for accuracy and verify data when needed.
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete request.
- Enter data from source into designated computer application, database or files.
- Perform day-to-day activities that ensure effective account management of assigned accounts.
- Perform reconciliations for assigned accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Work with customers in a proactive manner to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean environment.
- Perform other duties as instructed by management.
