Description:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE JOB:

  • Minimum one (1) year of clerical work experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of eighth grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) test; or one semester (12 semester hours) of accredited college work
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE JOB:

  • Bilingual
  • Experience in a busy office setting
  • Experience working in a medical field
  • Experience working with people who have been diagnosed with a mental health or substance use disorder

Responsibilities:

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • The person in this position will coordinate care for clients enrolled in the Diversion Program
  • Duties include clerical support for documentation, maintaining spreadsheets to report program metrics in compliance with grant deadlines and specifications
  • Scheduling appointments with internal and external providers for clients in the program to ensure whole health needs can be addressed and monitored
  • Working as a member of the therapeutic team to create a clinic atmosphere supportive of whole health wellness principals
  • Organizing the clinic to ensure all needed supplies are maintained and organized for use by the provider teams in support of service delivery
  • Provision of high-quality customer service to promote wellness within the team and clients in the program
  • There are several programs that will operate within the Diversion Program to create comprehensive care
  • The person in this role will be responsible for scheduling session rooms to conduct treatment services to support ease of clinic operations
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
