ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or equivalent (e.g. Kaufleute für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen preferred)
• Previous experience and knowledge in a similar position could be considered as an advantage
• Be fluent in English. French or German will be considered as an advantage
• Have good knowledge of standard IT products, MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to work on shifts in a team or alone
• Ability to establish and maintain good customer relations
• Ability to perform error free and without constant supervision
• Strong time management skills and being able to perform tasks within tight deadlines

• Input of data according to instructions of customs and export control entities
• Take necessary actions with Cargolux Stations worldwide to get issues solved & shipments released
• Coordinate with other departments within Cargolux
• Proceed with shipments status checks for every flight to or through the US
• Instruct and share processes with the handling agent and Cargolux Stations
• Assist customers & Stations when required
• Keep all the parties informed about the status/condition of their freight status
• Maintain records of activities
• Ensure system updates & transmissions are processed in due time
