QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary degree or diploma from a recognized Medical Administration program required
• Medical Terminology knowledge required
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel with proven ability of proficiency
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records software required
• Customer Service Training preferred
• Recent experience as a unit clerk is an asset
• Recent experience working with physicians with proof of previous work history
• Recent related experience with pharmacology terminology required
• Demonstrated communication, organizational, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
• Typing speed 40 wpm
• Knowledge of Scheduling Software preferred
• Must have the ability to multi-task and be organized in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively as a team member
• Testing may be required
