QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year experience required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Good money management skills required.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be able to use Microsoft Office products, adding machine and credit card machine. Experience with LMS preferred.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform a friendly, professional, and timely manner check in and checkout processes.
  • Maintains knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the reception desk’s daily operation.
  • Maintains cash bank, and guest folios, ensuring all room charges and credits are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for assuring the highest quality guest experience by promoting the Thoughtful Service Model throughout all areas of responsibility. Handles and resolves guest complaints and concerns. Follows up to ensure matters are resolved quickly and appropriately. Informs management of unresolved issues.
  • Assists with the training and development of new and existing team members.
  • Monitors master key procedures and par inventory level to ensure security and restriction of access.
  • Works closely with the Housekeeping department to optimize the overall guest experience.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with overseeing the front desk and PBX/reservations operations.
