CLIENT ACCOUNT BROKER
Aon is looking for candidates with general insurance experience who are keen to progress their Insurance Broking career.
We are also open to candidates with customer service experience, who would like to kick start their Insurance Broking career, we can train you from scratch!
This role sits in our Aon Affinity team and boasts a high staff tenure, so this opportunity is rare!

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about insurance, client service and stakeholder management.
Our ideal candidate will relate to the following:
- Insurance, professional indemnity, banking, retail or customer service experience (highly regarded)
- Experience dealing with complex client inquiries (highly regarded)
- Interest in growing or establishing your Insurance Broking career
- Excellent time management skills
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification and/or willingness to obtain (highly regarded)
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Comfortable working towards KPIs and targets
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and any CRM (highly regarded)
Responsibilities:
- Managing a client portfolio including all ongoing client insurance/risk needs
- Service delivery, account management and account retention
- Identifying and closing opportunities
- Policy renewals – end to end
- Providing relevant product solutions to clients within your authority
- Assisting with complex client queries
- Negotiating with Insurers and clients on risks outside of Underwriting guidelines
- Understanding client financials and providing appropriate support regarding debt management, payment enquiries and settlements
- Understanding, and complying with, regulated processes and systems
- Completing daily client administration tasks
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times
- Working towards individual and team target
