Description:
Independent Counselling Enterprises (ICE) is looking to expand its team of dedicated disability services professionals within the provincial Behavioural Services department. The ICE Client Behavioural Services Consultant is a leadership position which oversees the provision of all behavioural supports for the agency to ensure alignment with accreditation and industry standards. The Client Behavioural Services Consultant works in collaboration with ICE personnel and external stakeholders to provide quality service to those accessing support. This position directly reports to the ICE Chief Operating Office and supervises the Team Coordinator – Behavioural Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing and monitoring of behaviour intervention plans.
- Tracking and reviewing of implemented behavioural supports provincially.
- Providing consultation to and assisting with training of agency personnel.
- Consulting with external resources as necessary to facilitate behaviour support planning. * Attending planning meetings as required for individuals in service.
- Facilitation of Restrictive Procedures Advisory Committee (RPAC) meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and agency policy / procedures both in principle and with supporting documentation.
- Maintaining acceptable standards and procedures for risk management.
- Direct supervision of the Team Coordinator – Behavioural Services.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in the rehabilitation or a similar field (a minimum of two years) is required.
- Experience working in the community rehabilitation field (including a minimum of three years of practical experience in behavioural management strategies) is required.
- Experience in developing and implementing positive behavioural intervention.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector required before commencing employment.

- Strong communication, writing and computer skills.
