Job Title: Client Care Administrator (Veterinary Receptionist)
Salary: £24,045 per annum
Location: Calder Vets, Dewsbury
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Shift Pattern: Week 1: 7.30-16.30, Week: 2 11:00-20:00, plus 1 in 4 weekends.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 12 months experience dealing with customers in a customer-facing role.
  • Previous veterinary experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A driving licence is required to be a successful applicant as you will be expected to cover at other sites

Responsibilities:

The duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
  • Weighing pets.
  • Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
  • Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.
  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
  • Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
  • Processing prescription requests.
  • Taking payments.
  • Promoting offers and services.
  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.
  • Covering sites for annual leave and sickness
