Using your experience working with youth in residential care environment, you will: participate in prescribed medication administration practices; facilitate client admissions, discharges and client inventories; intervene to deescalate potentially volatile and aggressive situations, assist with preparing meals as required; perform bed checks as required; assist with minor laundry and housekeeping duties; prepare bedrooms for client admissions; and monitors the facility and ensures all buildings, rooms, and recreational areas are appropriately secure and safe. As a key member of the program team, you will also attend shift exchanges and relay information in an effective and timely manner; review client files regularly; and, communicate observations to the team verbally and in written form.
