Description:

We have an immediate position open for a Mortgage Assistant / Client Care Specialist who will be a part of the team at an ever-growing, high-profile mortgage team.
The Mortgage Assistant / Client Care Specialist will be a key team member, facilitating the mortgage process from the applications submissions to the funding of mortgages. Mortgage Assistant / Client Care Specialist will communicate with all stakeholders and clients.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 2+ years in the Banking / Mortgage industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including a professional and friendly telephone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Quick learner and eager to learn new skills.
  • Candidates must work well both independently and as a team.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licensed Mortgage Agent in Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the deal flow: communicating with internal team members and managing the client during the mortgage process, including requesting and collecting various paperwork and information.
  • Ongoing communication with clients during the mortgage process.
  • Entering information into CRM and deal origination systems
  • Keeping important information and documents organized electronically
  • Organize emails, ensuring all are responded to with urgency and accuracy
  • Compile and submit the compliance files for approval
  • Proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable with a paperless working environment.
  • Experience in the mortgage industry is an asset.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
